Houston Storm Stoppers Testimonial – Hurricane Ike
Dear Storm Stoppers®:
I live in Magnolia TX, which was right on the eye wall of Hurricane Ike. Even though we are 40 miles north of Houston we still had sustained winds of 100 mph with gusts reported at 120 mph. In fact, I lost three large oak trees, one of which landed on my roof. I bought and installed your product several years ago and you’ll be happy to hear that they all stayed in place and I did not sustain a single broken window, unlike some of my neighbors. As you can see from the attached photos, the panels at the back of the house are flush-mounted and exposed to the full force of the wind. Yet, none of them budged.
I must also comment that it only took me 45 minutes to attach my 24 Storm Stoppers® panels to the windows prior to the storm, while I watched my neighbors struggling to board up the traditional way with plywood. During the hurricane, it was a tremendous comfort knowing I had the Storm Stoppers protection. I just wanted to say thank you.
