Texas Window Solutions can install several types of bug and solar screens for your porch or covered patio.   From framed bug screens to track mounted roll-a-way screens, we have whatever you need.

Porch screens – built to last.

We sell only high quality Phifer screens which are manufactured with durable vinyl -coated fiberglass or polyester. Phifer is an industry leader for exterior screens that are:

• Mildew resistant
• Fade resistant
• Pet resistant
• Need only occasional cleaning with mild soap and water.

Fixed screens

With a few modifications your your existing porch or covered patio, Texas Window Solutions can install durable, frame mounted screens in almost any size.  We typically use a combination “bug/solar” type mesh that rejects some of the heat and ALL of the bugs.  Fixed screens are held in place using standard wood screens so they are easy to remove if necessary.

Roll-a-way screens

Roll-a-way shades are a great choice when ultimate control over temperature and bugs are a must.  Roll-up shades can be installed with header boxes and side tracks for fine finished look, or with just the shade itself.  Roll-a-way shades offer the added advantage of being retractable on those “perfect” days when the breeze is cool and the bugs are few.  They can also be easily rolled up ahead of a storm.
