Roll-up Solar Screens – League City Texas

The challenge:
Texas Window Solutions was recently contacted by an League City Texas home owner who had a beautiful back yard with a newly covered porch. He had a few challenges he hoped we could provide solutions too. First, the covered porch…two types of weather made it difficult to enjoy. In the summer, it is heat, and in the winter it is the cold north wind. He wanted something that would help with both situations. His second challenge was getting something that he could use to cover an area of his patio for extra shade when hosting parties. We new just what to do.
The 1st solution:

Mesh: Suntex 90 ( most restrictive fabric – excellent choice for blocking sunlight and wind)
Color: brown mesh, black clutch and stainless steel chain (homeowner’s preference – good compliment to house)

“I will say that when the shades are lowered while it is raining, a significant amount rain/splatter is prevented from soaking the patio. It also seems to block the wind as advertised as I stood out there when we would have some gusts and I know that I could tell a difference. I feel much more comfortable that this is what we were looking for.”
