Dickinson Texas Solar Screens

The challenge:

Texas Window Solutions was recently contacted by an Dickinson Texas home owner who wanted to reduce the amount of heat and glare coming into his home.  This home has the original single pane glass windows and the homeowner was looking for an affordable alternative to replacement windows.   The home is benefiting from a large number of tall trees so he was concerned about the rooms being too dark.  He also wanted to leave his window blinds open throughout the day to make his home feel more open.

The solution:

Mesh: Suntex 80 ( excellent blend of heat resistance and light transmission and outward visibility; Suntex 80 also allows a generous flow of air through an open window)

Color: brown mesh and tan frame with a colonial pattern that matches the windows (good compliment to house)

Installation hardware: screws (only option)

This customer was very impressed with the effect of the screens on the heat coming through the windows, and was even more delighted with the dramatic appearance the screens gave to the house.  It just so happened the paint colors on the house were an almost perfect match with the colors of the screens and frames.
